Cannabis Terms

  • Adapters
    • Adapters are an attachment accessory that eases the consumption of hemp flower or CBD concentrates. It’s used to protect a dab rig or bong from heating or catch excess oil or ash and prevent it from infiltrating the water chamber. Read more.

    • Adult-use is a term used to describe recreational use of hemp and marijuana for people legally considered adults.
  • Aeroponics
    • Aeroponics is an innovative plant cultivation practice in an environment with no soil. It involves suspending the roots of the plants in an environment of mist and air, also known as an aeroponic chamber. Read more.
  • Anther
    • Anther is part of the hemp plant’s anatomy, an oval-shaped sac situated towards the end of the stamen. Read more.
  • Ash Catcher
    • Ash Catcher is an attachment that keeps your water pipe or bong clean. Read more.
  • Atomizer
    • Atomizer is the element in a vape pen that heats and converts the cannabis e-liquid into an inhalable vapor. Read more.
  • Autoflower
    • Autoflowering is a genetic characteristic that allows cannabis plants to start their flowering phase automatically. Read more.
  • Azulene
    • Azulene is a class of chemicals present in some plants (including cannabis) and fungi that exhibits an intense blue to green color. Read more.

  • Bong
    • Bong is a water pipe used to smoke pot or CBD flower. Read more.
  • Bowl
    • Bowl is an essential component of a pipe or a bong. It’s the rounded-out part into which you pack your CBD flower. Read more.

  • Bud

  • Butane Hash Oil (BHO)
  • Cannabichromene (CBC)
    • Cannabichromene (CBC) is one of the “big six” cannabinoids distinguished in medical research. Cannabichromene is a non-intoxicating phytocannabinoid that displays potent anti-inflammatory properties. Read more.
  • Cannabicyclol (CBL)
    • Cannabicyclol (CBL) is a minor, non-intoxicating cannabinoid synthesized as the cannabis plant starts to age. This cannabinoid is a degradative compound that develops when cannabichromene is exposed to UV light. Read more.
  • Cannabicyclolic Acid (CBLA)
    • Cannabicyclolic Acid (CBLA) is fairly rare, non-intoxicating compound found in cannabis. It’s originally present as cannabichromenic acid (CBCA) and converts into cannabicyclolic acid (CBLA) when exposed to environmental changes during storage. Read more.
  • Cannabidiol (CBD)
    • Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-intoxicating phytocannabinoid naturally occurring in the cannabis plant. This cannabinoid is the second most abundant molecule in the marijuana plant and first most abundant in the hemp plant, after tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Read more.
  • Cannabidiol (CBD) Hash
    • Cannabidiol (CBD) Hash is a cannabis concentrate made by pressing or rubbing together the resin glands of (in this case) the hemp flower to form brick, slab, or rolled pieces. Read more.
  • Cannabidiol (CBD) Oil
    • Cannabidiol (CBD) Oil is a popular natural concentrate, tincture, or extract. It contains high concentrations of cannabidiol (CBD) extracted from either marijuana or hemp. Read more.
  • Cannabidiolic Acid (CBDA)
    • Cannabidiolic Acid is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid naturally occurring in the cannabis plant. CBDA is the precursor of cannabidiol (CBD) and is present in the trichomes of the raw cannabis flower. Read more.
  • Cannabidivarin (CBDV)
    • Cannabidibarin is a cannabinoid naturally occurring in the cannabis plant with a similar molecular structure to cannabidiol (CBD). Cannabidivarin (CBDV) is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid, meaning it doesn’t make you “high” or cause hallucinations. Read more.

    • Cannabigerol (CBG) is a minor hemp cannabinoid with many potential therapeutic benefits. It displays antibacterial, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties. Read more.
  • Cannabigerolic Acid (CBGA)
    • Cannabigerolic Acid (CBGA) is a non-intoxicating cannabis compound, also known as the mother of all cannabinoids. CBGA is one of the precursor cannabinoids for THC, CBD, and other main molecules. Read more.

  • Closed-Loop System

  • Dab Mat
