Baox Strain Review
Baox is a high CBD sativa-dominant hemp hybrid. Although typically grown indoors, our unique source is grown outdoors and hand-trimmed.
It has a particularly earthy-green spicy aroma with a touch of funk that it received from its Kush lineage, and a similar, yet sweeter, flavor.
Baox buds are on the lighter side in both density and color, making them great for pre-roll joints. The light green calyxes contrast with the hunter green leaves and dark red hairs that give these flowers tremendous bag appeal.
Baox is best used for nighttime or evening relaxation sessions, and to combat the stress of daily life. It provides a strong sense of calm relaxation, along with boosts to mood and improvements to perceived inflammation-related pain.

Inbreeding creates a stabilized genetic profile and back-crossing the strain into itself has created a high-CBD, high terpene, low THC expression, as well as fast flowering time and shorter bud structure.
Now that we’ve got more info on Boax’s background info, let’s unpack its terpene and phytocannabinoid profiles.
Terpene profile
Terpenes are aromatic chemicals found throughout nature and serve many different purposes. In hemp, they provide unique therapeutic benefits and synergize with phytocannabinoids.
Total terpene content of our Baox hemp flower:
.9% terpene content (8.99 mg/g)
The primary terpenes expressed by this outdoor cultivation of Baox hemp include –
· 3.8 mg/g Myrcene
· 2.2 mg/g Caryophyllene
· 1.4 mg/g Bisabolol
Myrcene
The most predominant terpene in hemp and cannabis, Myrcene has a pungent ripe aroma. It’s sometimes referred
to as the “couch-lock” terpene for its powerfully calming sedative-like properties.
Caryophyllene
This terpene is cherished for its anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain-relieving) properties. Caryophyllene gives Baox hemp flower a unique spice, clove-like aroma.
Although most commonly associated with black peppercorn, Caryophyllene is also found in other types of spices and herbs that exhibit a peppery, spicy aroma.
Bisabolol
Bisabolol exhibits a floral or flowery scent that can be noticed in certain types of flowers and fruits such as jasmine and chamomile.
Used for centuries for its perceived benefits to skin health, Bisabolol is known to have anti-irritant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-microbial properties.
Phytocannabinoid profile
Total phytocannabinoids 23.60%
Total CBD 20.05%
Total secondary phytocannabinoids 3.55%
Growing a strain that was born indoors outside under the sun and stars doesn’t always work out so well. In the case of our local, small-batch (100 lbs.) Baox hemp cultivated in North Carolina, it was an incredible success.
The strain proved to thrive in organic soil and natural sunlight, which led to an astounding 23.60% total phytocannabinoid concentration. This ranks it among the most potent CBD hemp strains on the market in 2020.
Our batch of Baox also presents 3.55% secondary phytocannabinoids concentration that includes CBC, CBD-A, and THC-A, which are critical in activating the entourage effect.
