Taffy … What Is It Exactly? See Here

Taffy

Taffy

ˈta-fē| Noun

A specific type of texture present in rosin concentrates that gets its name for its moldable, taffy-like consistency. It might seem off to use a candy-making method to create cannabis concentrates, but this one offers stability to the extract. It basically prevents it from separating or “auto-buttering” over time. Users like rosin concentrate because it’s easy to dab and is made without using solvents.

How is it made?

Manufacturers take the solventless rosin after pressing, and repeatedly stretch, twist, and pull it to expose oxygen and create a sof, malleable consistency. After working it for an extended period, it starts to take on the same light consistency of taffy. Eventually, it turns into an otherworldly metallic gold.
